Hiya! We're glad you're thinking about visiting! We also get that it can feel weird at first. But hey--one thing we have in common is that we've all been first-time visitors at some point.
In the meantime, you might want to know what to expect on your first visit. We tried to think of all the questions we had when we first came, and then we answered them below. Take a few minutes to explore, and then be sure to let us know if you'd like to be met at the door!
- What should I wear?
- How long does it last?
- What Time Should I Arrive?
- What will happen?
- What about the kids?
- Can someone show me around?
Whatever you'd like. Some of us dress up, but most of us are pretty casual. You'll be comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt.
About 80 minutes.
We officially start at 10:30 am, though you can come earlier for donuts and coffee. Also, at 9:30 we have small groups, which are a chance for us to work out how our faith is forming us. You're welcome to join these at any time.
You'll want to grab a cup of coffee, and maybe a donut. Smile at a few folks. Service starts with some upbeat music, followed by a few announcements about what we're up to. (Don't worry, we'll NEVER make you feel singled out.) A few more worship songs, then we pray together and receive offering. (Please don't feel obligated to give, that's something us regulars do to be a blessing to others.) Then our pastor will share a brief message. That's it!
We love kids! There's lots for kids to do on a Sunday morning if they are comfortable going to children's church. If not, they're more than welcome to stay with you in service. We even have coloring packs available so they don't get too board!
Of course!!! We'd be happy to help you feel more comfortable on your first visit. Just fill out the form below, and one of our pastors will be waiting for you when you arrive!
Can we give you a tour?
